11. Skyscraper – a skyscraper is a very tall building.



12. Handcuffs – handcuffs are what the police put on your wrists so you can’t move your hands.



13. Dress – Dress is a verb. It means to put on your clothes.

14. Pajamas – Pajamas are the clothes you sleep in.

15. Doorbell – You push a button outside the house and the doorbell rings inside the house.



16. Satellite – A satellite is something that flies around a planet.



17. Garbageman – A garbageman is someone who takes your trash away.

18. Pharmacist – A pharmacist is the person who sells you medicine.

19. Waiter – A waiter is the person who brings you food and drinks in a restaurant.

20. Cyborg – A cyborg is something with some living and some machine parts.



21. Muslim – A person who believes in Islam. Most of the people in Palestine are Muslims.

22. Jew – A Jewish person. Most of the people who live in Israel are Jews.

23. Christian – A person who believes Jesus was the son of God. Most people in America are Christians.

24. Type – Kind. Apple and Banana are types of fruits.

25. Primary – The first and most important.

26. Secondary – Things that are not the most important.

27. Biology – The science of living things.

28. Freezing point – The temperature when something freezes. Water has a high freezing point. Oil has a low one.

29. Melting point – The temperature when something melts.

30. Geologist – A scientist who studies the earth and the things in it.
