Dear Police,
My name is Areen. My mother was robbed of 10 million dinars. I know you will want to talk to me but you can't because I am in America. I am worried that you will suspect me but I did not steal the money. I borrowed enough money to get to America from my older brother Tom. I was surprised he had enough money to lend me some because I know his business is not going well. I have not talked to my family since I left Palestine.
He has always had trouble because he is such a poor businessman. That makes him sad but when he dropped off the money he seemed much happier than he had ever been. His wife looked beautiful too. She had some nice diamond earrings on.
I remember how my mother reminded us of the combination to the safe (that’s the number for the safe). She reminded us the day before she got robbed.
I am very sad for all my brothers and sisters. I am sad for my brothers because Anan will never get to be a race car driver because he can't afford a car. He asked all his friends and my mother and none would give him the money. He told me someone else bought his race car.
I am sad for Tom because his wife is so cruel. She hits him and calls him a poor donkey whenever he won't buy her things. My mother said he is a loser because his business is failing.
I am most sad for my sister Majeda. Her fiancé (the man she wants to marry) told her he would rather die than marry her if she didn't get the money. My mother told me she paid him 10,000 Sean Dinars to go away and never talk to Majeda again. I know the only way he would come back is if Majeda had a lot of money. If you need me to come back for a trial, send me an email in America. My email address is tlhhavidgf@mai.com.
Sincerely,
Areen
